Tents mean life. Tents mean hope.

Every day, thousands of families in Gaza struggle with a lack of basic necessities. War, destruction, and difficult conditions have left many of them homeless. In winter, the situation becomes even more dire—children and families sleep on the bare ground, exposed to the cold, rain, and attacks from hungry animals.

Our #GivingTuesday and #GivingDecember campaign aims to change their fate. We want to provide 25 families with waterproof tents that will give them shelter and hope for survival.

Your help in action

  • 🏕 Purchase of tents: Waterproof tents that protect against cold, rain, and wind.

  • 🛏 Blankets and mattresses: So that children and families can sleep in a dry and warm place.

  • 🩺 Medical aid: Providing basic medical care for children and adults.

  • 🍞 Food and water: Supplying basic products that are essential for survival.

  • 🧼 Hygiene products: So that families can stay healthy in difficult conditions.

Read the stories of those we have already helped

Every family in Gaza has its own story. Each of them experiences daily drama, but with your help, we can change their lives. Learn the stories of people like little Habeeba, who was born in difficult circumstances, or Nimra, a boy with cerebral palsy who dreams of a warm and safe place to live.

Little Mahmoud

A one-year-old boy who survived terrible bombings. Now he has a shelter where he can take his first steps.

Little Mira

Mira was born in the most difficult conditions. Thanks to the tent, her family can protect her from the cold and rain.

Zahra i Nasser

Siblings who spent every night on the bare ground, shivering with cold. Now they have their own tent, which keeps them warm and safe.

Baraa i Sand

Brothers who lost their home during the bombing. For several weeks, the children slept on the ground outside, and Baraa was bitten by a hungry dog. Now, in a tent, they can finally sleep without fear of the cold and rain.

Hiba's family

Hiba is a brave 15-year-old girl who takes care of her elderly, sick parents and five younger siblings. She survived the most difficult moments of the war. Thanks to the tent, they have a chance for a little bit of normality.

Jamila, Tawfiq i Mohammed

Siblings who lost everything—their home, many family members, and their carefree childhood. Their new tent is a place where they can play and feel safe.

Your help changes lives

For families in Gaza, a tent is not just a roof over their heads. It is a chance to survive the winter, to protect children from the cold and rain. It is hope for dignity and safety in the most difficult conditions. Your help is a step towards a better tomorrow for those who need it most.

Help a widow with four children

Rania became a widow when a bomb killed her husband. Her youngest child was born after his death. The woman faces a merciless war alone and tries to keep her four children alive. Her children are cold and wet, sleeping on the bare ground. The single mother is begging for your support: “Please help my children and provide us with a tent.”

HELP NOW

Reem's children dream of a tent

Reem and her family lost everything – her house was destroyed and all their belongings, including her children's clothes, were buried under the rubble. Her family came under our care when the children were injured in the bombing. Currently, after evacuating to the south, the family lives and sleeps outside or tries to shelter in war-damaged vacant buildings. Reem's youngest daughter was attacked by hungry dogs while sleeping outside at night – the girl has bites on her hand and face. Reem's four children dream of a tent that will protect them from the cold, rain, and attacks by hungry animals, and give them a sense of security.

Mr. Elyan asks for help

Mr. Elyan is the father of three boys and the guardian of a little orphan girl. Desperate, he asks us for help every day: "We have nothing—no home, no tent, no warm clothes for the children, and there is no room for us in the shelters in schools. I don't even have mattresses for the children, so at night I spread plastic sheeting on the ground, put a blanket on top, and lay all four of them next to each other. They fall asleep hungry, cold, and wet when it rains. Please help us and give us a tent to protect my children from the cold and rain."

“My son was bitten by a dog.”

Wajood from Gaza is a mother of three children. The war took away her home, her job, and the small business she ran with her husband—a children's playroom and a café for women. The family lost everything and now sleeps on the street, sharing two mattresses they managed to salvage from their bombed-out home. “Last night, while we were sleeping, my one-and-a-half-year-old son Rafaat was attacked by two hungry dogs—one of the dogs attacked and bit him on the head, and the other sank its teeth into his hand. Please help us get a tent to protect my children from the cold, rain, and dogs.”

What do the families we help say about us?

"Dear Rainbow Hearts Around The World, you have done more for us than any Arab or Western leader. You are truly wonderful and have devoted all your time to us. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being with us. We in Gaza didn't even have a tent, but you provided us with shelter from the rain and cold. I cannot find the words to express my gratitude. I offer you my respect and admiration. Many thanks to you and all the members of your team."

Enas Malek, mother of Jamila, Mohammed, and Towfiq (source: Facebook, comments)

"I call on everyone to help the people of Gaza. We are dying of hunger and cold. We are sleeping on the streets. We beg everyone for help. Please send your aid to Sister Aisha; she really helps families in need and affected by misfortune. We thank our compatriots in Poland, Sister Aisha, and her organization; they are truly wonderful. Thank you. I call on everyone to support the Aisha Foundation. Thank you."

Abdul Rahim, a father from Gaza (source: Facebook, comments)

"Dear Aisha, you and the Rainbow Foundation deserve our support, trust, and assistance. We, the residents of Gaza, would not have survived without you and your support. You helped us evacuate and provided our children with food so that they could be healthy. Please support the Rainbow Hearts Around The World Foundation so that it can continue to help us.🥺🙏"
